The victory of Republicans in US and Democracy in Iran
SMCCDI (Public Statement)
Nov 10, 2004

The attacks of the Islamic terrorists to the economy and military centers of America on September 11th, 2001 was the beginning of awakenings of the civilized World from a sweet sleep and joy of the fall of Socialism. The people of America, who had put the nightmare of nuclear attack behind, suddenly found themselves in front of some Barbarians, who were hitting the passenger planes with the passengers to the buildings in New York and Pentagon, while saying God is Greater (Allah-u-Akbar). They were the witnesses of a criminal act of terrorism, which even the Communist enemy could not dare to do such tragedy.

Although The United States of America led the anti terrorist operation, and Europe was in cooperation with USA at the beginning, but the European Union seized the opportunity to strengthen its positions before the only super power, The United States of America, and with distancing itself from US, started dealing with terrorist supporter regimes like Islamic Republic.

During the presidential campaign in the US, Senator John Kerry, Mr. Bush's challenger, was hopeful to get more votes by cooperating with the European Union to be against the Iraq war and opening the dialogue with Iran on the nuclear technology. But, with a huge and record voters and the number of votes to Mr. Bush, which was a record in the history of the United States, showed that more than half of the voters agree with the Mr. Bush's domestic and foreign policies and programs and support him. It seems that the support of Mr. Kerry by trade-masters of European Union and the lobbyists connected to the Terrorist Supporter Islamic regime, had it's effect on casting their votes for Mr. Bush.

No doubt, that the re-election of Mr. Bush and the new-conservative reflection, which took more seats at the Senate and the House of Representatives, was a clear message of approval  (plebiscite) for long term fight against the religious fanatics and terror, and to create The Greater Middle east based on the freedom of the Eastern European countries.

Now, Europe cannot open an account on the split in the American people, and should conform to America on one hand and with the other nations, who are supporting Bush, on the other hand. In this direction, the soft side of the European officials is encouraging. So, we believe that it is necessary for the Unites States of America, with the perception of it's great position and by relying on the people of countries who are ready to practice freedom, to use all it's financial possibilities, and do not give more time to Europeans or China and Japan, and support the nations like the Iranian nation morally, as fast and strong as possible.

The "Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran" (SMCCDI) congratulates the great nation of the United States of America and Mr. George W. Bush for his victory in the presidential election and wishes, as he mentioned in his speech after his victory about the foreign policy of the Unites States and spreading democracy in the World, and as he supported the Iranian people for their struggle in establishing a democratic government in Iran, it is proper for the United States of America, more that any other time and with transparency, instruct a free election instead of nuclear issue.

In the day that millions of Americans, in long lines, voted decisively against Islamic terrorists, Islamic Republic celebrated the United States embassy occupation and the hostage taking of 52 Americans for 444 days, burned the American flag, and showed that it's still not respecting the International conventions. Now, this regime, on it's direction towards Anti-Semite policy and support of terrorism, is planning to demonstrate, on Aban 22nd (Nov. 12th),  the so called "Ghods Day" (Jerusalem) in Tehran and other Iranian cities.

Once again, at  this occasion and in line with the civil disobedience of the courageous and peace loving Iranian people, we will show that the participants in such demagogical propaganda are only the Mullahs and their mercenaries.  The People of Iran, by staying away from such desperate gatherings, will be showing  their deep aspirations for establishing a total political change at home and promoting a just peace around the world.

Let it be considered that the massive boycott of so the called Ghods demonstration will be clear evidence of the popular rejection of the Islamic republic regime and the increasing disgrace of its backwards oligarchic rulers.

Long Live Freedom!

Long Live Secularism!

Long Live Democracy!
