In recent weeks, the eyes of the world media has focused on your heroic efforts. Iranian men and women have bravely defied the clerical regime’s brutal suppression by crying out for freedom and democracy throughout Iran, in major cities like Isfahan, Tehran, Abadan, Sabzevar and Shahinshahr. The echoes of their cries have reverberated worldwide, and a new chapter has been added to the Iranian nation’s strife for democracy.
Noble Men And Women Of Iran:
The Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has tried in vain, to muffle your voices through his ridiculous radio and TV broadcasts. The regime is desperately struggling to get out of its self-created impasse by enhancing its masquerade of a "so-called" reform program.
The unfair loss of Iran’s national soccer team, which was followed by mass street protests, have been reported by the mass media worldwide. The freedom-loving people of Iran will never give up their strife for democracy especially, when it concerns the forced failure of its national soccer team.
Fellow Compatriots,
Beware that the despotic regime and its mercenaries will use every tactic to fool you, such as creating a bogus referendum. We are all fully aware, however, that a referendum that does not question the issues of the absolute rule of the supreme leader (Velayat-e-Faghih), separation between state and religion and the abolition of the theocratic rule of the mullahs in Iran is not a true referendum. The Iranian nation will not abandon its strife until a true referendum is convened.
Dear People Of Iran Who Comprise The Third Force,
Now that the world's mass media has reported your heroic efforts, and the clerical regime is visibly showing signs of great anguish and fear, let us unite once more to create another historic epic in our strife for freedom and democracy.
Our next Rendez-vous is on Thursday, October 25, 2001 (3rd Aban 1380) after the 90th minute of the soccer match between Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the streets and public locations throughout Iran.
Victory will certainly be ours in this match. The white dove of freedom is approaching with great speed.
