Iranians will gather in order to protest against Mohamad Khatami's presence, on the US soil, and his planned speech at the National Cathedral. They intend to show that Khatami is not a solution but just another part of the good cop-bad cop game played by the Islamic regime and that he doesn't represent the People of Iran.

Millions of Iranians will size the opportunity offered by the banned Persian ritual of "Tchahr Shanbe Souri" (Fire Fiest) in order to show their rejection of the Islamic regime and its main religious basis.

Heavy clashes are expected as the regime intends to enforce the respect of its ideology while Iranians are intending to protect and show their National believes.

Several Iranian groups, such as the SMCCDI & the INSP, are co-sponsoring rallies organized by the "United American Committee" (UAC) on February 1st. These actions have been scheduled in order to "Protest Against Islamo-Fachism".

Los Angeles, In front of the federal Building, located at 11000 Wilshire Boulevard;
Time: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

2) NEW YORK:
New York City, at the World Trade Center - Ground Zero; Time: 1:00 PM

3) TEXAS:
- Dallas (Addison), at the Intersection of Beltline and Addiso; Time: 4:30PM
- Houston, at the Tranquility Park located between Walker  and Rusk Sts; 
Time: 12:00 PM




New York, (NY/US) (On 09/14/2005)

"Iran UN Protest 2005" (IUNP2005) coalition, which includes SMCCDI, is organizing a protest gathering at the occasion of the upcoming visit of the new appointed Islamic republic's President to New York.
Mahmood Ahmadinejad who's a former terrorist and a notorious Human Rights abuser is to speak at the UN.

A permit has been issued by NYPD and NY Park administration to SMCCDI for such event which is organized in the frame of a IUNP2005 event. This coalition has held
several fundraising and TV and radio programs for a massive mobilization.

Iranian students will commemorate the legacy of the 1999's Students Uprising by gathering inside and in front of the Iranian universities despite any official ban.
 
In addition, thousands of Iranians are expected to come into streets and squares of most Iranian cities or their roof tops and to condemn the Islamic regime in another show of rejection of the theocracy. They will also cherish the legacy of the "Epic of the Students Uprising of July 9,1999".
 
These wide spread demonstrations are expected to be extremely bloody as the Islamic regime which has increased the repression, intends to smash the popular actions.

From Noon ( inside and around the universities ) and from 19:00 in the cities.
In all Iranian streets and squares, especially in the Enghelab, Amir Abad, Vali e Asr, Azadi, Baharestan, Narmak, Tehran Pars and Madar areas of the Iranian capital.

Iranians will defy, once again, the Islamic regime by celebrating their banned Persian cultural heritage known as "Tchahar Shanbe Soori" (Fire Fiest).

They will break the Islamist regime's imposed religious taboo by making this celebration as the clerics qualifies it as a "pagan tradition".

Heavy clashes are expected as Iranians have made themselves ready to resist the brutal attacks of the regime forces.

Iranians and Human Rights supporters will demonstrate in order to condemn the persistent rights abuses in Iran at the same time that the UN Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) will open its meeting on the case of the Islamic republic regime.

Main cities, Iran (On 02/09 & 10/2005)
Iranians will show their rejection of the Islamic regime and the dark legacy on its 1979 revolution by:

1- Shutting off of their homes and businesses' lights and protesting from 21:00 (Iran local time) on Wednesday February 9, 2005 in main streets and squares.

2- They'll boycott the official celebration of the 26th anniversary of the Islamic revolution by staying at home till 21:00 (Iran local time), on Thursday February 10, 2005, and then shutting off again all lights and demonstrating in streets.

Many will have their right hands index finger painted in "Blue" in a sign of wishing real Free elections on the choice of the future Iranian Secular regime.



Los Angeles, (CA/US) (On 02/10/2005)
Iranians of S. California and various political groups, such as, SMCCDI will gather in order to denounce once again the Islamic revolution of 1979.

The Movement along Iranian opponents and freedom lovers will gather in order to protest against the reception organized, by the Islamic regime, for the Mullhacracy's FM in the UN premises.

The protesters would request the expell of the Islamic regime from the usurped UN chair of the Iranian Nation and will request wide scale sanctions against the illegitimate theocracy.
